四技二專統一入學測驗從104學年度起，共同科目英文科將增加「非選擇」題型，包括：填充、簡答、中譯英、英譯中、句子改寫及句子重組等，其中選擇題至少佔76分，非選擇題最多佔24分，考試時間從原來80分鐘增加為100分鐘。非選擇題的題型及配分比例可上技專校院入學測驗中心的網站查詢。
In the technical and vocational colleges and universities entrance exam, there will be an English exam with the open-ended question types, including fill in the blank, short answer questions, Chinese/English and English/Chinese translation, rewriting sentences and sentences rearrangement. In the entire exam, multiple choice questions will weigh 76 points, while the open-ended ones up to 24 points (the utmost).
