101年度教育部資訊志工團隊已辦理期初培訓，將展開未來一年的志工服務，協助偏遠地區數位學習與發展。教育部表示，今年度召募101隊，來自全國57所學校大約2千多位志工，之後將在每個月前往98個偏遠學校和161個數位機會中心，協助學童及民眾學習電腦，或協助當地文化典藏，促進偏鄉數位關懷。
The initial training of information volunteer team sponsored by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of 101st year has kicked off and the team will start their volunteer work to help assist the digital learning and development of remote areas across the country for one year. MOE indicated they recruit 101 teams which consist of over 2,000 volunteers from 57 schools nationwide. These volunteers will go to 98 schools located in remote areas and 161 Digital Opportunity Centers every month to assist students and the public with computer learning and local culture archives so as to promote digitalization in the remote villages.
