國小學生競爭激烈，不少家長會請家教幫小學生補習功課，還會買考古題讓孩子練習。肯特地區教育委員會認為此風不可長，將禁止販賣考古題，同時改變考題形式，讓孩子沒辦法在家練習考試。今後的考題將涵蓋小學六年的課程，減少選擇題，同時要考新型閱讀測驗，還要考寫作。
The education system for entering a high school in England is seriously competitive. Many parents would hire personal tutors to teach their children, and even look for past exam questions for their children to do additional practice. The education committee in Kent district thinks this fashion should be stopped so that it will check on the business of the questions. Moreover the test questions will be changed.
