1. 教育部建置的「原住民族及少數族群教育資訊網」正式啟用，將成為原住民族教育資訊的入口網。網站除了集結原住民政策、計畫及各級教育階段執行成效外，還連結產官學界資源，提供「每日一族語」功能，讓大家可以學習原住民族語、客語及蒙藏語的日常生活對話。
The Aboriginal and Minority Ethnic Groups Education and Information Website built by the Ministry of Education is officially online. The website provides detailed report on aboriginal policies, plans and educational progress. Also, it links resources from the Industry-Government-Academia fields, and provides a quote of the day in aboriginal language. This way, everyone can learn everyday conversations in aboriginal languages, Hakka, and Mongolian.
2. 國中的公民課可以很不一樣！高雄市立路竹高中國中部社會學習領域師秀玲老師組成的教學團隊，利用角色扮演，讓學生扮演法官及犯人，瞭解不同犯罪類型可能受到的法律責任；課堂上還讓學生模擬銀行開戶，瞭解不同理財工具的風險，進而體會儲蓄和節約的重要。師老師是教育部本週推薦的活化教學典範。
The social studies classes in Junior high schools can be very different! 3. 新北市教育局設置在中和積穗國小的雙和區國際文教中心，這學期舉辦韓國文物展，展出當地服飾、樂器、報紙、家具、泡菜製作過程，還要教小朋友唱韓國民謠「阿里郎」。這項展覽歡迎其他學校和一般民眾參觀，也可以申請團體預約導覽。
The Xinbei City International Cultural and Education Center in Hsuan-Her district, Chi Hui Primary school is hosting a Korean Culture Exhibition this semester. In display are local clothing, instruments, newspapers, furniture, and the process of making kimchi. The kids are also taught to sing the local folk song “Ah-li-lan”. This exhibition welcomes other schools and regular citizens as well, and group reservations are also accepted.
4. 近來傳出幾起保母托嬰照顧不周造成嬰兒死亡案件，內政部兒童局長張秀鴛表示，未來將限縮全日托嬰的人數，從現行的最多可以帶2名未滿2歲的幼童，以及2名2歲以上的兒童，改為只能照顧兩名不限年齡的幼童。新規定預計明年12月1號起正式上路。
Recently, there have been cases of baby deaths due to the lack of care from baby-sitters. The Ministry of the Interior, head of Child Welfare Bureau Chang Tiu Yiang said that there will be a reduction on the maximum number of children a baby-sitter can take care of at a time. Right now, the limit is two infants under two years old and two above two years old. The new law will change it to a maximum of two infants regardless of age. 5. 3月14號是世界腎臟病日，根據國民健康局的調查，國內20歲以上成人，每10位就有1名患有慢性腎臟病，而且有4成6的糖尿病人同時罹患慢性腎臟病。國民健康局局長邱淑媞表示，糖尿病控制不良是導致國人洗腎的主要原因之一，她呼籲民眾正確使用藥物，並透過清淡飲食和規律運動，將血糖和血壓控制到安全範圍，才能減少腎臟發生病變。

6. 越南教育培訓部，針對20個違反招生規定的大專院校，採取刪減名額的解決方案。這20所大專院校每年都向教育培訓部申請大量招生名額，實際上並沒有招滿所申請的名額。也有學校在某些學制招生數量超過預定指標。因為多種原因，導致大學本身招生事宜過度混亂。教育培訓部採取刪減名額的方式，警惕各大學要慎重規劃每年的招生計畫。
The Vietnam Education and Training center reduced the enrollment figures of 20 universities that went against the regulations. The 20 universities applied a large amount of enrollment figures annually, but the actual number of enrollment did not reach the applied number.
